Privacy
The short version: our apps are built so that we cannot see your family's data. We run no analytics, no advertising, and no servers that hold your information for our own purposes. This page explains that, and points to the policy for each app.
Our apps
Each app has its own policy, written for what that app actually does:
- KidFacts privacy policy. Progress and the family facts a parent enters stay on the device and in the family's own iCloud. Nothing is collected.
- PocketRoo privacy policy. Chores, jobs and allowance records are stored for the family in a database we operate on their behalf, used only to run the service, and deletable by the parent at any time.
What is true for everything we make
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, in any app or on this site.
- No advertising, and no sharing or sale of personal data to anyone.
- Payments go through Apple's App Store; we never see card details.
- Apps for children follow Apple's Kids Category rules: a parent gate in front of anything meant for adults, and no links out to the open web for children.
- You can ask us what we hold, or ask us to delete it, at any time.
This website
madebyjdk.com is static pages served by Cloudflare. We set no cookies and run no analytics. Cloudflare keeps ordinary server logs for security for a short period under its own privacy policy. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees the request for the font file.
If you write to us, we keep the conversation for as long as it takes to help you, and we do not add you to any list.
